Hi all, this is MY recipe for Dove breasts; take as many as you can hit. In my case I go buy fast food, not as fast as Doves. LOL! In a sauce pan melt real butter, add a clove of garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Here is the kicker, for every 6 breasts add 1 oz. Frangelica. I hope I spelled that right. It is a sweet-nutty flavored liquor that is fabulous with game birds. Cabbage, I prefer Bok choy, ( Chinese cabbage ) fried to tender-crisp in bacon drippings is a great side to this dish. Ghost.

Hi BC, I suppose you could do this with quail. I would open them up  length ways and fry them in the Butter/ Garlic mix 6 minutes per side breats side down first then flip  to the rib section, then over once more to reheat and serve. If you do try this let my know how it turns out. The most important thing to kepp in mind is quail dry out fast and butter is helpful, but not a great replacement for natural moistness. Damn, now I'm hungry! Ghost.  f1
