Hey, I was looking at some older topics and I was interested in the pvc watering system used by Fozzie
Can you tell me how the pvc pipe is hooked up to the water? Pic's would be great
Thanks

My pvc waterer system is not directly hooked to a water source.
It exits the shelter end of the flight with an immediate 90* upward turn and a screw on cap to allow you to remove the cap and fill from outside, and more importantly, out of the birds sight of you.

How often do you have to flush and refill the pipe?

I only ad water to them and at the beginning of a new season I run some water through them to wash them out before I fill them.
In all honesty, mine stay very clean and I have only had to drain them when I'm finished at the end of the season.  I do rotate the pipe upside down so the holes are on the bottom while the pen sits empty to help keep any debris from falling into them.
