Here is a picture of mine

This looks great - I inherited a whole roll of 1/2'' hardware cloth - that can be used for the quail cages if I use plywood sides for stiffening?  I'm going to the hardware store today to pick up some materials to build a brooder and some new flooring for the room in the garage (elevated floor, used to be a canning room) for the quail - I should pick up some more plywood to make a brood cage similar......  I can make it to fit the room and divide it accordingly I guess too!  Can you tell me a bit about your watering/feed system there?  A hole cut in the front so they can fit heads through (I have some of that wire covering material from building rabbit cages too), and is it a divided gutter for the water/feed?

What I use is feed & water trough that came from cutler supply. I then called them and ordered some more ends like what came on them. Then I separated them where each section could reach food and water from there opening in front of the cage. The reason is that my cages sit against the wall and can not put a feeder on the front and a water on the back. look closer at the picture. thank Ya Jim

s98  very nice brooders there!  Are the wire boxes on front for the waters to keep the bedding dry?
