Nice clean work on the incubator, I'm impressed.

I'm working on one as well. I have an abundance of coolers used shipping refrigerated items to hospitals. 4-6inches thick and very sturdy lids....

anyway I plan on using a wafer thermostat and cone type heater @ 200 W and 120v low speed fan

can ya'll help me with the turner idea? I'd rather not turn manually if at all posible!

where can I get the GQF one mentioned so many times?

Took a couple of minutes for me to find the link, through Google:

  https://www.gqfmfg.com/store/comersus_listItems.asp?idCategory=51

Be sure to get the proper voltage.

I dug around when I got my GQF Ratite hatcher for some sort of turning system to convert it to a incubator.   :-o  It was $2-300 to do it. I ended up sticking my turner out of my foam incubator in it for now.

Here's a link, but no picture:

I'll see if I can find a picture.

You can buy just the turner motor and egg cups and build your own rack to hold them.
