I'm working on one as well. I have an abundance of coolers used shipping refrigerated items to hospitals. 4-6inches thick and very sturdy lids....

anyway I plan on using a wafer thermostat and cone type heater @ 200 W and 120v low speed fan

can ya'll help me with the turner idea? I'd rather not turn manually if at all posible!

where can I get the GQF one mentioned so many times?

I dug around when I got my GQF Ratite hatcher for some sort of turning system to convert it to a incubator.   :-o  It was $2-300 to do it. I ended up sticking my turner out of my foam incubator in it for now.

You can buy just the turner motor and egg cups and build your own rack to hold them.
