During this visit I've had several new looking pop-ups saying something about shaywood.com , some kind of message thing I've never seen before. Wants my user name and pass word....which it doesn't except any of the ones given.

Something new ?

I've been getting that today also.    It has always popped up when your in certain sections under your own profile.   Larry had addressed this before, but I don't remember what he said, had something to do with when Sean owned it and it was "www.shaywood.com".   But today it is popping up all the time, no matter where you are at.  No need to give any information, I wouldn't attempt to put in user name and password.........just "X" it out and move on.  

Might be some identity theives got some kind of scam going to get your password so they can access your profile and post bad information about you?   LOL!!   :grin:

I made a couple changes to the PHP version that we are using and I think that may have taken care of it.  It seems to be working on my end anyway.  If anyone else is still seeing this pop-up please post a quick reply in here.  Later on this week I plan to do a complete update on the entire forum pages and hopefully be able to add some good changes everyone would like.  I'll do the update at night so there is little to no downtime on the forum.  If you are logged into our forum as a member there is no reason you should have to re-enter a password.  To my knowledge since our site upgrade we have not experienced any problems.

I tried on several computers and I cannot get the pop up any more.  Can one of you guys try logging out then back in again?  May be you have to log off and back in for the new settings to take effect.  Just a thought.  If not I'll go into detail more.

Tuesday, November twentieth, of the year Two Thousand and Seven, 1012 hours, eastern standard time....:grin:.................and that $#*#  Shaywood character is still poppin' up!   I'd like to "Pop" him right in the nose!  :eek:

Redoak...........loggin' out, restart, clearing cookies or any other tricks I have tried, hasn't done any good for me.

Larry, it didn't work for me either. the PoP up is a log in window for the forum, and even to look at, or revise personal info.
