protein question

The feed store 1/2 an hour away only had chick starter.
I read on another thread that the gamebirds need more protein than chickens.
so... how do I give them more protein?
Should I grill up a new york strip or T bone?

get some soybean meal and add it to the chick starter to bring the protein up to 28%
