Ok, I called Cutler Supply & ordered the hoods, hopefully they will be here before the end of next week.  

Tonight I will take on the task of clipping everyone's nails.

Good luck!

dancowell stresses some good points for the aviculturist. If you are into this line of raising. I for one am a commercial breeder and the peepers and hoods work best for me when you are talking about 600-1000 birds.

There are only so many branches with leaves that you can put into a flight pen before you have to remove them after they are picked clean.

My flight pen is 55x100, which contains brush piles and roosts. I will also rotor till the pen area once a month after all new growth vegetation has been eaten.

Thank you for all of the great ideas.  This past weekend I trimmed everyones' toe nails & spurs & it went well.  Will trek into the woods tonight to get some branches & plantings.  I'll let ya know how it goes.
