Just letting everyone know there is another Pullorum testing workshop this year at MSU.
Cost to get your flock cerified is $15, no preregistration nessesary.

Anybody in Michigan not certified & needs birds tested let me know.

Your lucky, the State of WV won't let anyone that is certified other then WVDA employee's do the testing. Then again the service is free in my state, along with the AI certification.

How many birds do you test within the same flock?
WV requires ALL birds within the same flock.

I don't have my stuff in front of me but as I remember the discussion on that is 10% or 300 max for large scale producers.
If you get one that tests positive, you need to quarantine the bird from the rest of the flock and contact the state vet.
Even during a somewhat private conversation with them they would only say they then would be in contact with the owner & work with them.
Wouldn't say if you could keep the birds and keep testing or if they confiscated the whole flock.
Kind of a gray area, like they had to come out & survey the situation, they nearby neighbors etc. like each situation was different so there may have been no standard answer.
