Title: Quail in Tx. panhandle
Post by: DoubleL911 on November 03, 2008, 02:41:05 PM
Opening week in panhandle showed to have a good come back of native Bobs.
Hot weather in the upper 80 day time.
Ragweed still green and knee high to waste high
Leads to terrible scenting conditions
Still average about 1 covey per hunting hr.
Looks real good
Coveys of 25 to 30 birds.

That weather doesn't sound like Texas.....sounds like Ohio.  (Although I've never been to Texas)
