Title: raw meat?

hi,
i have 39 bobs at 4 1/2 weeks old. there in a 4x4ft brooder. about 5-6 of them have raw meat showing in the same spots.. right behind there necks on there back. im thinking its from fighting?some look to be healing, only 1 or 2 look  real bad. some blood on 1. but no feathers look to be growing back , and i was going to move them out side this week a 5 weeks.. what do i do?

Give them alot more room to many birds for a 4X4 area

Agreed, plus too much lighting. I've got 90 in an area that size and have never had any problems with a 7 watt red bulb for lighting and heat with baseboard heater.   Although, it's hard to turn down the lights when you are heating with a bulb. I always turn lights out at night too, which gives them a "cool down, resting" period. More room is always better in any situation.
