all my quail hatched but 6 i left them in for a day longer and they started a hole i thought they were going to hatch . i gave them one more day and they did not hatch . last night i helped them out i got 4 out of the 6 saved . they seem to be fine today . why did the 6 not get out by there selfs . humidity in the hatcher  was 76 the hole time . they were not stuck to the shell they came right out . i have 109 eggs in the incubator now what can i do so this dose'nt happen again ? they go in the hatcher July 9th .[/b]

This is not unusual. Some chicks are just too weak to get out on their own. This can be for lots of reasons. Older eggs, genetics ect. Some people help them out. As do I. Some don't, thinking if this chick is weak, they don't want it to be part of the flock. This would be more important if they are to grow up to be breeders.
