HELP! Cage Moving Dilemma

Hello everyone. This is my first time raising quail. Is there anyone out there that can shed some light on my dilemma? To make a long story short, I received 94 blue scale quail when they were eight days old. I lost two, leaving 92. They were being kept inside in a 42 qt. container until yesterday. At 15 days old, they were moved to an outside pen constructed of 1/2" hardware cloth that is 4' x 14' long, critter-proof. This morning I woke up to 3 dead birds, all on the same end of the pen. Was 15 days old too soon to move them? I thought they needed more space after 10 days old. Is this incorrect? Was it stress that killed them? Your advise is much appreciated!

First off
Now we need to know more. Location and weather???
If I did that here in NH yesterday all would be dead.
We had thunder storms with lots of rain.
The temp dropped to 61 during the night. Thats tough at any age.
