Title: putting chicks outside
Post by: Britton Howe on April 12, 2006, 07:44:35 PM
just wondering when it's save to take bantam chicks off the light and put them out side? they will be 6 weeks old on monday. The days are only in the mid 60's and nights around 40.

they should be ready when they are fully feathered.
You could take them out in the afternoon and then take them back inside at night.
Thats what I do.
