I had 65 in a 160 square foot and they had plenty of room....no pecking or anything. I'm getting ready to close off about 60 square feet of it to let it grow up and I think that they'll be just fine in the 100 square feet that is left. I keep plenty of brush and cover for them to hide in and such.
