I had problems with ants in my brooding area. Chicks (400+) were only 2 weeks old. I mixed 2 tablespoons of Dawn dishwashing liquid with 1 gallon of water ina sprayer. It only works if sprayed directly on the ants but, it takes just a few minutes to kill them. Plus it hasn't harmed the chicks!

Well done WT! FYI insects do not have lungs, they breath through thier skin. Therefore, detergents and/or oils clog thier pores which causes them to suffocate. Ghost.

you can also use baby powder worked well aroud breeder pens
