Hello!

In Norway we have problems getting the bobwhite chicks to live up. They are eating well, but after a couple of days they get sick and die. We give them antibiotics, and that helps a bit.

Is this usual?

I take it you are using gamebird starter, are you crushing it up first ?
Are you keeping the brooder warm enough ? About 98 degrees for the first week, then lower 5 degrees each week for the first 4 weeks is the way I've done it without to many problems.

Hope this helps
