Fresh eggs incubate just fine.

Never heard or read that you have to wait.

Normally, one would wait 7-10 days before starting a new batch in the incubator, to avoid a pile up at the hatcher.

Komer
Also never had a problem with fresh eggs.
Depending on hatch days for eggs of species you have.
Most of our birds are within 2 days hatch time
Our process is set eggs every Saturday hatch starts on Saturday and is finished by Monday not counting the first Saturday as one of the 21 to 23 days for quail.
Good luck
