I have some Pharaoh birds that are 6 weeks old, and for the past 3 weeks have had some type of leg & balance issue--- like a club-hip and sometimes cant stand up... Have lost about out of 60 and I usually don't lose any.  Any idea what they have or what I should do?  Thanx

HI, how is the boning on your quail do they have thick legs ?
sometimes you can get lots of muscle and small bones causing breakage then that breakage can go into gang green

something one of my hens just had after jumping out of her cage i seen her limp put her in quarantine and poof her knee was broken i culled her and went to look and see more if she had issues and my dog loves quail . i seen gang green for the first time

my goal on my jumbos os meat to bone . i am getting birds that are 275g at 7 weeks old im excited but also worried i chose my birds for breeding carefully first i culled all the weak legged birds then went for conformation and last was weight

good luck tammy
