s85 Looking for a supplier of motors and fan blades . I use Leahy 624 hatchers and Maybe you can help me out, do I need  fan blades larger than 8"? I have a 624 I'm rebuilding and it has a 8 " fan but the motor is shot, and the shaft that the fan mounts on is 5/16. Most of the motors shafts, I have looked at are 14 MM. Will  smaller fans put out enough air to work in these hatchers of 6 trays?
We have several thousand chicks on contract and I can't and hope not to have problems on hatch days.  thanks yote1

Found another motor 1/6, went over to the local electric repair and found a 7" blade, took the old 8" and tried it first to much motor sounded like it was going to saw the incubator in half. Caused the heater to spike. Installed the 7", and working good so far temp is right and this fan is very quite. I'm going to replace the bearings and found out the size of motor on the old one.  Then I will have a spare, motor.

Like Backcountry, I've found Sunny Creek Farms is good for old incubators and parts.

Been to his place in Minnesota,  he has stuff laying everywhere. He needs to build a shed and house some of the stuff he has. Your right he seems to have older parts, that are getting harder to fine. I'm considering buying a new incubator this fall, probably will be Kuhl, or Natures Way.

I don't know about the mess, haven't been to their place... Always been reliable for us. The've been able to locate incubator parts for us a couple times and we bought used incu from them that turned out to be very good. It would be nice if there was another place like this.
