Hope this isn't the wrong place to ask,but how old are pheasants before you can sell as grown birds?

  And are the pure?

  For shooting preserve type uses, once the males are pretty much colored out (Ringnecked).

At 20 weeks the Ring-necked Pheasant is considered a mature male. 18 weeks minimum to shooting preserves.
