I was on eggbid yesterday, and saw 12 Mountain Quail eggs for $85.  Are these quail that hard to find? That's $7 an egg.  Just wondering.

Yes, they will often go to $10 per egg.  Spendy things aren't they?  It is limited numbers of breeders with a limited number of eggs layed and a high demand means tall prices.

yea. I purchased two dozen last season. Didn't get a good hatch rate. So, I hope to buy another two dozen this season. If you don't mind the wait, wait till the demand is less...prices will be a little cheaper.
