Names Tim and I just joined this site because a few of my friends joined it not too long ago. I raise lady amhearst, red & yellow goldens, and other various birds. I got new additions and they are the 6 jungle fowls I just bought. Doing great!

I got new additions and they are the 6 jungle fowls I just bought. Doing great!
Whomever sold those to you didn't claim that they where "pure" did they?
There was some fella runnin' around here stating that he had "pure" jungle fowls for sale, hopefully you didn't get them from him? I'm thinking his website was something like this: www.animalsinthecity.webs.com Beware of this person!!

thanks everyone! I am so happy that everyone came by to say hi to me. My best friend andy who joined the same time as I did pretty much loves it here already s020
Ok, so I actually did got the chicks from Tommy and he's a great guy. I spoke with him on the phone maybe times before I ordered the chicks and he was real clear on what I am getting and so i ordered them from him right afterwards. $60 for 6 plus shipping i thought was a great deal for the san diego zoo line in which he has lots of pictures of on his site and everything. Tommy did mention that he got into a few arguments on the forums that he said he was a part of because the members misinterpreted his idea of "pure san diego zoo line". Anyhow, I got the chicks recently and they look good and perfectly healthy. I will keep everyone updated on how they are, how is that?

Well, I am going to hold off on my s016 to the 2 new members: HaloBoy88 AKS Tim and mines2good.
These two just seem to be on a phishing expedition. Talking about Jungle Fowl right off the bat. Bringing up TommyVT05 c109 I think mines2good is a second nick for the HaloBoy88.
Time will tell. Until they have proved to me other wise I will hold my reservation.

Congrats on those little guys.
The ones I ordered arrived today and they are very nice looking. I got 6 and hope they turn out great. Lets hope we can stay connected so we can exchange birds next time yeah?

I thought i can input some about the eggbid story i heard of. i believe a few weeks back, there was this seller who listed on eggbid for a pair of jungle fowls that looked nothing like jf at all. They look like BBR something but definitely not rjf and he wanted like $120 for the pair or something. Please make sure you cross reference the pictures at least with another source to be safe.
Otherwise, good luck and don't hesitate to call me in if there is more than one being listed. I would love to get some other bloodlines.

Very similar stutter patterns. So why did you pretend, and hide the facts? Is "pure" San Diego Zoo (proper noun) like "genuine faux diamonds"? Or "pure standard jewelry gold" that is 10 carat (less than half gold)? If so, you should have listed them that way, from the start.
If you are happy with the birds you sold to yourself, more power to you! In fact if you really enjoy them, perhaps someone can think up something else you can sell to yourself, or do to yourself. Gooday mate (I always mate on top).

I can guess why everyone is concerned with me and Andy. We joined yesterday after I got my chicks from Tommy so perhaps everyone thought this whole thing is fishy. Like Tommy, we are college students too so it been busy for us as well. When I called Tommy yesterday to see why I can't find him in this group anymore, he told me everything so now I know what is up.
It might sound weird that Andy and I walked right in and talked about Jungle fowls right away but that’s because we just received them from Tommy so we are overly excited about it. I wanted to back Tommy up with the post from 333 because after talking to him on the phone, I know he is not those flaky types and that’s why I bought the chicks from him and they arrived healthy and full of life!
The rest of my game birds are doing well and actually, my two yellow golden pheasants laid a few days back so nothing new to add on this forum about them yet, even though I do know that this is a game bird forum. I hope that clears up the confusion?
