How late in the year does every body incubate? I was just winding down had my last batch to hatch out on the 8th when I decided to get some more quail eggs so it looks like another month of fun.

Look on ebay and you can tell. People are still buying eggs Infact I just bought some Valley and Gambles eggs the other day.

We incubate 24/7 365 days a year ourselves and its a very cost endeavor. The internet also has sources of eggs nearly all year but off season will bring a premium for those that arent aware of the going prices.

We incubate until early fall. I dont like to have chicks hatching in the late fall/winter because it costs a ton to brood them. We start running incubators about the first of feb.

Middle of winter for me ! Was digging in frost in MAY !

I've finally emptied my incubators and turned them off. I will be down south most of July, but when I get back, I will get setting another round of quail to get my breeders for the winter egg needs. I plan to breed and incubate off and on all winter.
