Title: Attaching a water spigot to a bucket
Post by: Sterling-Ranch on November 30, 2004, 05:11:54 PM
I use the Little Giant watering founts.  How can I attach the standard Home Depot faucet to a 5 gallon bucket?  I bought some plastic tubing that fits on the faucet and then a backing piece that attaches on the inside of the bucket.  I've tried using Goop and some rubber washers but I still end up getting a good leak. There has to be something you can get that will allow you to tighten up real good on the bucket so you don't get any leaks.

Use liquid nails (produces a tough sturdy bond) on the inside and out then use silicon after it hardens.Always works for me.Hope this helps !

Remove the internal stem from a rubber tire stem. Drill, I think a 3/8 hole, and glue in.
Attach the hose to the tire stem.
