Ive got 86 Ga. Giants but they are for use in Alaska, best way to get birds is to hatch your own.  Please excuse the spelling and grammar, I'm from the North.

McMurry hatchery But you have to order early. I found a place about 70 miles from me. I'm sure if you look hard enough you can find a place close to you that way you can see how they are raising them and scale it down to your needs. Also they are much cheaper.

I would try Wadley Quail Farm in I believe Marion GA.  George raises and sells G-giants eggs and I believe also birds.  Good luck!

Hey,

I live in conyers Ga and have alot of regular bob whites. Personal preference is that the regular are alot better for training and hunting than the JUMBO Giants.

I have Georgia Giants and Jumbo Wisconsin Bobwhite Quail.
I am located in Wadley, GA.  We have eggs available year round and we also have some young birds available, we can only allow pick up orders for the live birds at this time as it is toooooo hot for the birds to be shipped.  We can ship out egg orders daily using the postal service or dhl, any one with any questions can email me at:

mead9997@bellsouth.net
or call George Meadows at 478-252-9997 or 478-206-9623

Thanks George

I should have chicks ready in September.

And he has SOME KIND OF BIRD.  I bought eggs from him this winter (not the best decision I ever made, time wise).  Last week someone made a comment about the Georgia Giants being as big as my Chukars.  I caught one that night, and measured the wing span.  Go ahead and call me a liar, 17".  I have fed them high protein feed, since thy hatched.  They are not nearly as tall, or heavy as a Chukar, but that wing span is pretty close.

For general purposes, I do prefer the Wisconsin Jumbos.  Food consumption is one drawback to the larger birds.  And many people don't want to pay the extra cost a producer needs for adult birds.  They do get attention in the field, though!
