Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello and thank everyone for all the good info and pics in this forum. My name is Dennis Franks i have a small quail farm in south Mississippi called Southern Bred Quail Farm. We raise valley quail and bobwhites quail. We started the in march of last year and it has been hard carrying 2500 birds a whole year with the price of feed and no eggs coming in for $$$. but we've made it so far. Our valley quail started laying about 5 weeks ago and are doing well. I find myself bird watching them with binoculars from a distance trying to get to know them a little better but the move so darn fast. My wife thinks i'm crazy. Look forward to chatting with ya'll.

in find myself checking nest boxes trying to keep tabs on eggs laid this time of yr(parrots ,lvbirds , teils,keets)and watching nest sites of my button quails for signs of life ...feel like a momma hen! from florida dennis  |
