It still wouldn’t be feasible cost wise, and you sure as hell know that the FAA isn’t going to let this fall into the category of an ultralite. Just the cost alone on runway fees will put the kibosh on regular guy. Forget about even taking off on the roads, or even trying to land on one.

Let us not forget the insurance costs… You think your car insurance is high now, just add this to it along with a high premium for liability. Oh ya, how about the states making you have to pay for an FAA endorsement on you drivers license.

Don’t forget the flight plan as well.

It's certainly not some thing I could afford, no private air strip here..

we have mini airstrips every 5 miles ...but the insurance here would kill you s176
