Went out to collect eggs from the Johnny House yesterday and as soon as I opened the door a bird flushed.
He was flying like there was not tomorrow and had at least 20-30 seconds hangtime in the 8x8 JH.  He was much smaller than the others so I had a feeling he may be wild.  Snatched him up and he had no band.
Guess the ladies called him in.

Wonder if he will incubate the eggs

It's a wonder that the others didn't kill him for being inside their J-house.

If he manages to pair off with a hen, he could very well sit/hatch chicks : it is normal in the wild. (I also had a male hatch chicks)

I decided to turn him loose.  I did some training this weekend with my Britt and turned him loose with some other males.  So far he has not recalled again and hopefully he wont.   Need all the wild ones out there we can get.
