Good on you for mentioning location

May not make a diffrence except what's available for you.

Jumbo Coturnix are hady and have good conversion rate, and space rate  Chukar are poor converters of feed.

Ducks and Quail are a no-no, on the same place it may be the same with Pheasant and  Turkey.  Turkey and Quail don't work together, either.

It can be done careful but then  o

thanks for the help to begin

would it matter if they all had difffrent pens or is it a matter of desieses each carry and that the deseases are air born

all of my stock have diffrent pens

i tried ducks and geese in the same pen and it was just a war so i made pens for each breed

i was thinking of separating them

a pen for each type

and i usually have 1 male to 4 females is that ok for other poultry as well

Not mixing is a great idea. Will help prevent blood shed.
Will keep all healthy and happy.

You are already ahead with the Muscovies, free ranging Muscovies are way ahead for feed consumed and meat produced.

The next most productive would be Turkeys. When free ranged they are economical. There can be more losses.

For meat I would go with Ostrich and show Call Ducks and sell to public I would go with Broilers.

thanks again guy/girls

i decided to give them each a big pen early on after the war broke out then i needed to separate the pen they went tooth and nail through the wire too so i put then on separate paddocks
the chickens i used were perkink ( good mothers to all breads i had) and isa browns ( but have now changed to sussex ( good size and weight not bad on the eggs)
so thats why i had to ask about the others what better way to learn than to ask people in the know

thanks again

P.S
my pet goat went alright with my chickens but smashed just about everything i put in the pen she ended up living on the shed roof at one point
and had two kids both girls so i was happy

that was just 4 a laugh i thought id tell you that for
