Can anyone tell me how to tell male from female chukars.

Is it ok to put lady amherst pheasants with golden pheasants together with hens the males have blinders on.
and I have mutant and ring necks together with two hens a piece.
is this O.K
They are both in good sized pens.

I'm just starting out with some knowledge

Chuckers...

Males have a bump on the back of each leg.  they also appear to be just a tad larger then the females.
