Anyone ever look at the Upcoming Calendar near the bottom ?

Sure seems to be a lot of us around the 50 mark !

So you young pups, take note !
This "hobby" of raising Quail and Pheasants is very addictive, and likely going to last a life time !

The money runs out, here, every couple of months, or so.  I still haven't got smart!

I guess that is why we are considered bird brains.

Unlike some of you "old" folks, I'm only 14 and don't have any money to begin with, so I'm already ahead!

lol wilder, I am with you. With constantly rebuilding pens and cages and adding new things it makes the money go out alot faster than it comes in from the birds during this time of the year. I am glad for the Spring and my plumbing job.

I am glad for the Summer and my plumbing job as well... I plan on building a few more smaller, heavy duty (therefore expensive) pens whenever the gates of hell close up for the winter  (heat index of 95-110 w/80% humidity as of the last 3 weeks or so). My family owns a plumbing business... fun stuff, isn't it?

I think I found who is going to visit my place, and since he is going to be here, he may as well install a full lawn/tree sprinkler system !

You'll be renting a ditch witch, as I don't plan on doing much more work again with a shovel until next summer! I could do it, though... hah! It's really VERY easy work laying smaller diameter PVC. All you do is cut and glue! How'd you like that rhyme?

I believe it would be legal, as I don't think you have to be a master plumber to install a sprinkler system? I may be wrong though, never know about those Canadian codes...

Never gave that a thought ! But I seldom give thought to colds

By the way, I'm going to rent a mini excavator to do some ditching here anyway...after 20+ years(on excavators alone), I may be able to toss some dirt around

Yes, I figured I'd leave the excavation to you... I've never actually used the ditch witch we have. I leave that work to Dad (when they hit unexpected telophone lines, they can't blame it on me! ) Well, off to bed for me. Hopefully no more nuisances on the site next time...  :police:
