Surely a few here winter/ice fish ?
Went out for the first time today. Glad I have a power auger ! Ice on that lake is nearly three feet thick !
Had three small Pike come by, didn't land them. Saw a school of Perch as well.
Headed out again in the morning !

Reeves, my brother, dad and I fish out on our 3 acre pond. It has bass, perch, sunfish and walleye. A couple of years ago we sunk some "fish cribs" (small 8ft.x8ft.x5ft. log cabins) in our pond. we usually fish over them and some days we will catch a few but some days we can pull close to a hundered fish in a hour or two . We have about 2 feet of ice on our pond right now, but today was our warmest day of the year, it reached 40 degrees F. We also play pond hockey, I guess that is not going to last for much longer. Well good luck ice fishing Reeves!

Hmm... never been ice fishing before, but I did go to Canada on a boy scout trip. We were in the wildnerness... canoed 108 miles in an oval . It was pretty fun... caught a few pretty big pike while we were there as well as a few largemouth. I mainly fish on the water (in a boat). lol... or bank fishing.
