He had been gone since the 10 of September, only to return on the 29th for a short brief period.

I sent him an PM that day and haven't heard from him either.

Hope he's okay.

Maybe we got lucky and the Somb**ch got snake bit!

I'll spend a couple of hours getting caught up, but it doesn't look like my special "talents" were needed, anyway.

HOwDY!!

It's that time of year.  Things will slow down a bunch on here. I see you're still breathin'.

You know, somebody could kick the bucket around here and nobody would ever know what happened.  Like "aKira".........what happened there?  "stewaw" was away for a while, then back a short period,.......then disappeared again.    :-|

Nine, so far, which is pi** poor for a guy who remembers the 60s.  Could have killed a dozen more, but with the numbers down, plus a limit of two, working the dogs is more important.

I'm leaving as soon as I get my pants waxed.  Going farther North (near Nebraska) where they had a better hatch, fewer trees and don't burn the grass every year.  Will also be scouting Pheasant.  Will take eight dogs, so I can cover complete sections to evaluate populations.  At least that is the theory.  Will only have two bird dogs, but three of the others hunt, and point well.  They all run hard, cover lots of ground, and flush birds, so there shouldn't be much doubt whether there are birds in the field.
