I went out to feed and water my Jumbo Wisconsin Quail this evening and noticed a couple of birds hopping on one leg and after futher inspection it seems like all 120 or so birds have developed a scab or sore on one leg or both. I have been doing some reading on earlier post and someone mentioned Scale Mites. I need someone to tell me how I can tell if it is, or if I just need to debeak them. I just changed the straw in the pen Saturday also. I would appreciate any help I can get. I have never had this happen before, the birds are 9 weeks old. Thanks in advance. :?:
