Hello all,

As the tile states, Im looking for some Mearns Quail. I am in desperate need of 1-2 females, or if you would only sell a pair, I am fine with that too. Worst case scenario if it was my only option, I would be fine with buying eggs or adolescents as well.

Basically long story short, I lost my first bird ever in the history of myself raising birds the other day due to escape, and out of all of the birds that I could have lost, it was my one and only Mearns Quail Hen. This was my first Mearns season and I was getting pretty excited about it, but now its looking like its shot for this year due to my bad luck. Hopefully one of you out there can spare a bird or two, or atleast maybe point me in the right direction.

I can pay you straight up for the birds, or if you are interested, I've got 5 bloodlines of Mountain Quail that I would be willing to include some eggs from if you only wanted to do it as a partial trade/partial cash. Please let me know if any of you have any leads as it would be much appreciated. Thanks and hope to hear back.

Thanks for the response, but unfortunately I've already talked to Terry and he said that he wouldn't have any until August. I'm still hoping to find something, so hopefully something will still come up.
