Just trying to get started with some quail. Still trying to decide on the breed. Mostly looking to have meat and eggs for myself and family. I have tons of questions!

Acannon,  s016, and bring on the qustions! In answer to your first question, even though you have not even asked. XLD1' Coturnix. 1. They are easy to handle. 2. they lay in seven weeks, and lay alot. 3. Big meaty birds.
I told you guys I was psychotic! Ghost.  s020

Welcome! Great site here. I've screwed up so many times getting started this year that I may be able to "answer" some questions at this point.

Don't feel bad, Tap.  I think we've probably all screwed up our share.  But they say......that's how you learn.  From your own mistakes.  I know I've learned that Mother Nature can have a warped sense of humor sometimes, and she has very little mercy for screw-ups, sometimes.  Hang in there and maybe we can all learn from each other's mistakes. s2
