Opening week in panhandle showed to have a good come back of native Bobs.
Hot weather in the upper 80 day time.
Ragweed still green and knee high to waste high
Leads to terrible scenting conditions
Still average about 1 covey per hunting hr.
Looks real good
Coveys of 25 to 30 birds.

Good scent conditions
Dogs smelling birds from long distance
2 to 3 coveys per hr on the am hunts
2 coveys per hr on pm hunts

That weather doesn't sound like Texas.....sounds like Ohio.  (Although I've never been to Texas)
