I don't think Bomber is American enough to like watermelon. If he were, he'd be too snooty to allow anyone to know.
And there are dozens of things not to like about his politics. That's precisely why he made such a big deal about his race (whatever it really is). He wanted the distraction from his agenda, and it worked.
Some are claiming he is "The Black John Kennedy" I have no idea what the hell that is, but he is the absolute opposite in his policies. Brags that he will raise taxes on producers, even while agreeing that always cuts actual revenue to the government. Kennedy lowered taxes drastically, which, as always, stimulated a lack luster economy.
O'bomber whines that the Constitution merely limits what Government can do to the people, rather than giving the Government specific power to redistribute wealth. This is just the opposite of Kennedy's "Ask Not" speech.
Since I want so desperately to be politically correct, I'm open to suggestions as to what I should call the Communist, if I can't call him a communist. Simply Marxist doesn't really get the point across to most people. The Government schools don't teach how evil he was, or how many millions were exterminated to move toward his Utopian fantasy.

Exactly. But too many people want a free ride and aren't smart enough to fend for themselves and will believe anything that comes across the TV screen. I think alot of people thought this was "American Idol" when they cast their vote.
According to "the news", Hussien is being briefed on information thats only privy to the president on foriegn affairs, info that senators and congressmen are not privy too. He's probably thinking right now, "gee whiz guys, I didn't know all this went on, how am I going to uphold my "change"? Then he pauses for a moment...."oh yeh, change is all that anybody's going to have in their pocket when I get done". :grin:

my employees. This really bothered me as I believe we are family here and
didn't know how to choose who will have to go. So, this is what I did. I
strolled thru the parking lot and found eight Obama bumper stickers on my
employees cars. I have decided these folks will be the first to be laid
off.
I can't think of more fair way to approach this problem. If you have a
better idea, let me know. I am sending this letter to all business owners that I know.

Citypickle, I'm in the process of moving and Bibles packed but I'm not sure that quote is correct. I do know Mohammed was not born until some 640 years after the birth of Christ. Revelations was written around 105 years after the birth of Christ. There was no Muslim religion when Revelations was written.
Don't get me wrong, I didn't vote for Obama. Heck, I'm from Texas. We don't have but 9 Democrats down here and I heard one of them is moving to Oklahoma.
Personally, I don't think Obama is going to do near what he has talked about. Just won't have the money. Tax revenues are going to drop big and the tax increases he is talking about won't begin to replace lost revenue. He is limited in borrowing without the Fed going up on rates which would further hurt housing. Just got very few options there. Notwithstanding what he has said, you can bet he is being reminded right now about the Smoot Hawley tariff act in 1932 so tariffs are out. Personally, I wish he did have some options but he doesn't.
I'm a old bird. Been very successful in business and follow finance closely. I've never seen anything remotely resembling this current economic situation. I never dreamed I would ever see any situation that would make me think a depression is possible but I see it now. I see some parallels to 1932 and more yet to 1907. If this quarter takes a 5% decline, not likely but is possible, I believe we will see a depression, a very deep one that will last 10 years.

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read, "Vote Obama, I need the money." I laughed.
Once in the restaurant my server had on a "Obama 08" tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference--just imagine the coincidence.
When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need--the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I've decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.
At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn.
I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application. OR IS IT.........REDISTRIBUTION OF SOMEONE ELSE'S WEALTH IS A GREAT IDEA...or just a fool's game!!!

My simple reply to him was " I don't know honey but it sure threw granny for a loop!!!"
I asked him who told him that and he told me Bubba that's his 13 year old brother.

I got a good chuckle out of it and when hubby came home I couldn't resist having him ask Holden who the president was, To which he proudly proclaimed "ROCK MY MOMMA"

I'm probably the only one who got that one. (At least, I think I did) Well, and maybe those guys at the secret service.
I don't think it will be necessary, more fun to watch them fall flat, and back away from their Socialist/Marxist ways. He has already backed away off of his tax hikes, and even thinking about leaving W's evil tax cuts in place. ( I think he'll need Congress to cooperate, but that should be possible).
He is planning some W.P.A./C.C.C. type programs, that make me pretty nervous.
The only thing anyone really knows about O'bomber is that he was the most Liberal Senator (according to facts gathered by Liberal watchdog groups that applauded him), he was thew only one to speak AGAINST providing comfort, and care for babies that survived abortion attempts, he is of mixed white Christian and black Muslim descent, and he has had two "Auto-Biographies published that were most likely written by Bill Ayers, a former terrorist, who thinks his group should have bombed more Government buildings.
Bidden is just a buffoon who has been in the Senate 20-some years, and thinks there are only three letters in "jobs".

What we probably really need is to leave the scum alone, until they have shown their asses to the public. Perhaps, eventually, even City dwelling teenagers will understand how evil it is to steal from those who produce, take 20% off the top, then use the rest to buy the votes of those who do not produce.
It will be interesting to see how the news media manages to blame the comming failure of the O'bomber administration on W., and traditional Americans.
