Waterer can  be made with 3/4in pvc.Use the elbow for the fountbowl use another elbow to accept the mouth of a plastic drink bottle. I use a 2 leter drink bottle. Connect the 2 elbows with several inches of 3/4 pvc and stick it through the wire to the birds. They will stick their heads into the elbow and drink and will not flip the water around the cage. One bottle of water will last 4 days or so(3 female-1 male). Clean and sterilize the bottles after use.
