Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with a cross breeding of a bobwhite and a coturnix quail. I did some searching and noticed some posts saying this could be done. I personally have never seen this and was wondering how this is achieved. What would you have to breed to achieve this cross? A male bob to hen coturnix or vis versa? I didn't even think the two would breed more less produce fertile offspring. I am just curious if this is for real or just a scam. Thanks\Steelshot

I wouldnt doubt that it has been done but would suggest agianst it. To quote a wise man "you should never, ever, ever, never, never, ever, never ever crossbreed any species"

I wasn't planning on cross breeding them. I had seen an ad for some eggs off of a cross between a bobwhite and a coturnix and was wondering if this was for real or just a scam. I didn't think the two could even produce fertile offspring.
