52* with a high of 80* Sunny Sunny Sunny....Coffee time...

Morning to ya slider j2 The temps finally started going up, present temp,49* and lots of sun.  It never went lower then 33.3* Frost was on the car and truck but didn't do anything to the plants on the deck next to the house.

Went out to the I.H.O.P. and counted another 63 RN chicks and another 8 Mels. I am up to 162 chicks in two temp brooder stock tanks.

85 get shipped out on Friday.

Time to finish up the GOOD coffee and head down to the store......

Later!

Its now 2.30pm Tuesday 6th May - so a bit late for morning weather

Its been a lovely day,  once the coastal haar lifted - Sun's out the birds are basking taking advantage of the weather while its here - If its anything like yesterday the haar will be thick by 7pm and they wont be able to see past their little beaks  ::)

Suz,

I take it that haar is fog?

My weather stn. must be messed up !
Says wind: E  9km/h........has to be nearing 30-50km/h & from the north.
Humidity: 50%......much more......it's sort of raining !
Pressure falling. That makes sense. Looks like rain for a couple days.
Temp says 11c....I think lower.....really need to pick up a new out doors thermometer.

Fine day here, think I'll take laptop out to the garden this afternoon ........

Suz

suz,

You are going out in the garden this afternoon in 15*? I'd be having a fire going in the house and drinking another pot of coffee j41

That is one drastic weather change in as much as 48hrs, correct me if I am missing something here.

Which cycle are you in, when do you hit the spring and summer months?

Yesterday we hit a 90* mark once again at the suns highest point only to cloud over by 3pm. Rained over night and looks as if the rain will continue for the next couple of days as well.

Outside temp right now, 61* muggy, cloudy, damp and calm winds.

The rest of Todays and Tonighs menu:Today: Thundershowers this afternoon following a period of morning rain. High 73F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch.

Tonight: Rain likely with a few thunderstorms. Low 54F. Winds ESE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Rainfall around a half an inch.

Back to the mud again.

Have a nice day j2
