Any big springer fans here? I have a springer named Bob who is 6 years old, hunts pheasants, and retrieves waterfowl, sort of. When duck hunting he'll resort to pheasant hunting tactics (i.e. flushing, springing) when stealth is more of a valuable asset. But he is very good at pheasant hunting. Never taught him to retrieve pheasants though.
Anyway, He is very large by genetics. He weighs in the low 60s range now, although he is very muscualr. His father was a beast too so he was born a little large.
