Airport may not ship

Just got a call today from the post office saying  that we have to take our birds to Pensacola, 40 miles away, and also that if the temp. is over 80 degrees or under 45 that the airport may refuse the delivery. Has anyone else heard about this. Thanks

Its the same in many places now.  Until the USPS and the airlines resolve their dispute its only going to get worse.  The USPS doesnt use their own airlines much anymore as they rely on others such as FEDEX.  Neither one can guarantee a safe or decent time frame for shipment and basically only accepting shipments from certain airports.  Thats what I was told anyway.  We can now ship to a handful of zip codes and if you dont live within that zip code your out of luck.  And theres others in the country that arent affected at all right now.  Guess it depends on the proximity you are to the shipping point.
