Title: Coturnix quail butchering - simple cheap killing cone
Post by: backyardquail on November 24, 2010, 04:27:32 PM
I was looking for a cheap and simple killing cone setup for quail, they are easy to find for chickens.  With no such luck I decided to build my own.  A soda bottled seemed to be the perfect size and as it turned out the contoured bottle worked even better than planed.  So rather than a lot of explaining, here are the pics.

Any feedback is appreciated!
