what do you do with the eggs that dont hatch?   how do you control the smell and the mess of broken eggs and the chicks that die.  trying to prevent  magets.    this is the part of the bird business that  i hate thinking about. but it is there.  thanks

If you are talking about in the incubator I am not sure...
but if this is after you take them out...
1 city dwellers have always relied on the watery grave. (THE TOILET)
it aint pretty but it works!
usually....

if you have a bit of property, even a decent flower garden or so.... get the shovel, dig a hole, drop the bad stuff in, and cover with the same dirt.

works every time.....
usually.

This may not be the "correct" method, but I seal mine up in some sort of container.........zip loc bags, milk carton, whatever and put them in the trash for the garbage man to haul off. I do this with any of the birds that die also.  My thinking is that I don't want anything laying around that critters/dogs/cats can get ahold of and get a "taste" fer me quail.   Plus, any diseases, etc. will be buried at the landfill.

Or they can be used to throw at any "Walmart" hunters during a APRH protest! (ANTI-PEN RAISED HUNTING).

Just couldn't help myself.
