Hi,
How old you can butcher a Guineafowl? What's the average weight? Are they able to have the loud call until butchering time?

Thanks

They are kinda hard to put that breast meat on the way you would like them to be at butchering time..a friend of mine just killed some and he had to wait till they were 6 mo. old untill they felt just right...and they were kackling like He!!.... They make a He!! of a Gumbo...The French ones are alot bigger and may not take as long...

They look the same just alot larger...breed like any other..incubation period same..make same noise ...just more for a Bobcat to eat and he does not have to come back as often... which cuts his risk of being killed down...
