Looking for Birds in Texas

 I've been thinking about getting some quail, pheasant, and chukar birds to raise for a while (About 7 years). Now I have decided to build some pens and do it. I was wondering if there are some quality breeders in or near East Texas to buy live birds from since I dont have incubaters or anything like that. The reason I'm looking for someone close is so I can pick up the birds instead of having them shipped.

Doug Sumrall raises bobwhites in Palestine, TX. I am getting some land ready for release and I am planning on getting birds from him. He has released around his land and has a pretty good breeding population. He releases at 5 weeks. His number is listed in Palestine, Tx directory.

I think quite a few people in East Texas are raising quail. Don't know where you are so might can find someone closer.
