can a fan that has a high out put lower humidity alot
and what can be used to increase humidity i use hot water and a sponge right now and hum. is only 65-70 in a 10"x 10"X10" box with a               10"x 10"x2"pan full of hot water
is there maybe to much fan temp is right on 99.5

any help would be great thank you

how big is your incub. ? about how many eggs are you putting in there?

its a 10 x 10 x 10 inch home made and i put about 10 -12 eggstill hatch

you might use a spray bottle and spray the eggs to raised the humidity but you will have to use warm water in the bottle so the eggs temp dont drop to much.  good luck

You may not want to spray the eggs directly since this may introduce bacteria.

I read that you are not suppposed to get the eggs wet at all. We had been keeping them in the fridge in the pole barn to keep them around 55 degrees, cause it is about 70 to 89 in the pole barn but when we took them out of the fridge they got a lot of condensation on them. We keep them under the house now and don't have that problem. Hubby made the breeding cages slanted down slightly so the eggs roll on to a tray so they don't get so much poop on them. Works great plus we don't have to fight the birds to get at the eggs.  :lol:

Eggs have a thin antimicrobial layer that is easily washed off.

You might want to check the temp on that frig in the barn. My old frig wants to run at 40-44, so I quit putting my storage eggs in it. Coveyrun
