Out of the 22 eggs in the incubator 17 pipped....16 hatched! I have 16 happy and healthy Jumbo Brown Cortunix in the brooder and 8 Jumbo Golden Cortunix eggs in the bator due April 8th. Im VERY VERY lucky to have 16 healthy chicks because this morning their water leaked and I woke up to a brooder full of cold...wet chicks. I wasnt using the main-brooder or 250 watt heat light as I had them in a fish tank lined with paper towels and a 65 watt flood light until they all hatched and leg muscles developed. But they are all in the big brooder now and under the Red 250watt heat light. All seem to be doing great after their pool party and just glad everyone made it!

Junior members with the first hatches must hold BBQ's for the older standing members'. This is the price you pay, if you want to play. I'll have mine rolled in flower and wrapped with bacon. Steve Pheasant Hollow Farm

8 Jumbo Golden Cortunix eggs in the bator due April 8th.
Are these a cross between Jumbo Browns, and Manchurians, or "CBF Superquail"? Do you know of a dependable source for them?
