Will several day old Cortunix Quail and 1 weekold chicks get along? We're hatching Cortunix Quail, and when turning, only 2 eggs feel like they have a solid object in them (day 13). If only 1 quail hatches, would it be okto  put storebought chicks with them so the 1 quail wouldn't be lonely. My thought was that because they're together from very early on, and they'll both be in a new place, they won't fight, and they'll  treat eachother as equals.  Is that true? It's happened for  me before with 3 day old chicks ( i hatched ) and 2 storebought chicks.

Yes true they will get along, but the difference is there size, chickens are 2 or 3 times a quail size you risk the quail getting step on and causing injury, also a quail needs a much high protein diet than a chicken does, hope both eggs hatch for you
